Which players Were Selected for Troy's Premier League Team of the Week?

Following each round of Premier League fixtures throughout the campaign, football pundit Troy Deeney presents his select XI and Manager of the Week.

Below are the latest choices. Share your opinion? Let us know via the comments section below.

Between the Sticks

Guglielmo Vicario (Spurs): Even though ending up on the defeated team against Chelsea, his teammates left him exposed. He was up against 18 shots, nine on target, with an expected goals of 3.36 for the visitors yet he made crucial saves. He stood firm on his team.

Backline

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): The talented teen is frightening. Naturally a midfield engine, he adapts brilliantly at left-back. His display in the win against the Cherries was impressive, establishing him as a future star.

Gabriel (Arsenal): A persistent threat, he helped secure a further shutout for his club. He is a handful from dead-ball situations, just being there made the difference in the win at Turf Moor. Opponents are intimidated by him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (the Hammers): Selected for a couple of factors: his team's victory and his composed, assured display. Although the Magpies underperformed, he excelled in possession and settled the play. Following a few uncertain displays, he seems to have grown under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (the Cottagers): He ignited the team in the victory over Wolves. Excellent going forward and consistent throughout the term, he's added goals to his game. Fantastic to see him fit and playing.

Engine Room

Moises Caicedo (the Blues): The sole midfielder no one can dispute. Absolutely pivotal for his club, he stood as the top tackler. An energizer, he drives the team ahead. Perhaps the best holding midfielder in the game.

Declan Rice (the Gunners): Another key display versus Burnley. An absolute beast, he netted and excels from dead balls. As playing lesser teams, he recovers stamina and executes forward surges. Crucial to unleash him.

Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool): He advanced, scoring versus a poor Villa team. His ability to dictate play on and off the ball, plus his awareness and tackling, rendered him essential to the win.

Attack

Diego Gomez (the Seagulls): He netted a brace versus United, but his style was graceful dribbling by opponents. Moving with pace and power, he was preferred over fellow attacker Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (City): What more is there to say about this phenomenon? Each occasion he got through, a goal seemed certain. He didn't appear like missing. The ruler has returned. Despite summer talk about other strikers, Haaland dominates. He could shatter goal tallies this season.

Rayan Cherki (City): Playing as a right winger suits him best. Incredibly two-footed, uncommon since Santi Cazorla. He can take free-kicks equally well. A gifted footballer, he appears sharp after his injury. His link-up with Haaland is clearly why he was signed.

Gaffer

Nuno Espirito Santo (West Ham): If you missed it, check out his celebration the third goal versus Newcastle. It demonstrates how much it matters for him and the team. He's aware they are under pressure, yet they must persevere and secure results.
